Start Time: 9am
Parking: The official car park for the race will be at the Aylsham Scout Ground on Stonegate, next to Woodgate nursery. The car park is 1 mile from the start line, so we will be putting on regular shuttle buses (starting just after 7am, last shuttle at 8:30am) for those that don’t fancy a warm up walk/jog before the race. We will have signs and marshals directing any runners who do want to walk/jog to the start line.

The race finishes in Aylsham Market Place, a 10-15 minute walk back to the car park.

Bikes: There are bike racks at the finish line in Aylsham Town Centre, next to the public toilets and town hall. From here you can walk to the start line. The finish is next to the town hall.
The Route: The starting area will be Aylsham Recreation Ground where you will find race numbers, toilets and bag drop. The finish is Aylsham Market Place. You can see the full route here: Autumn Blickling Half Marathon Route
Water Stations: There will be 3 water stations on the course and at the finish line. Please dispose of the cups in the bins provided. Runners must not dispose of their cups at the side of the road or in people’s gardens – any littering will result in disqualification. If you need to fill up your own bottle or pouch, you can do so at each water station.
Race Numbers and Registration: If you selected to have your number posted to you, you will receive it the week before the race at the latest. The chip is attached to your race number. If you are collecting it on the day, they will be available from 7:30am at Race Registration. Please allow time to collect your number and fill in your details on the back – pins and pens will be provided. You do not need to go to race registration if you already have your number. Please note your race number must be attached to the FRONT of your top.
T-Shirts: If you pre-ordered a race t-shirt, you can collect this before the race (next to Race Registration) or after the race (Aylsham Town Hall). There will be a limited number of t-shirts available to purchase on the day for £15 (to be paid in cash only) in unisex sizes S, M, L, XL & XXL.
Bag Drop: There will be a bag drop at the start line, your bags will then be transported to the finish line where you can collect them after the race from Aylsham Town Hall. Please use the baggage label attached to your race number if you wish to use the bag drop.
Toilets: There will be a few toilets located at the car park but most of them will be located near the start line. There will also be a toilet available on route at approximately 5.5 miles in at the Saracen’s Head in Wolterton.
Refreshments: Each participant will receive a food item after passing the finishing line, but there will also be refreshments available to purchase.

No dogs allowed: NO DOGS are allowed to join participants. They can join spectators if they are on a lead and under close control.

If spectators are bringing dogs, please keep them under control and on a lead.
