
Southwold Half Marathon
Next Race: 1st March 2026 (entries to open at 7.30am on Friday 1st August 2025)
A stunning Half Marathon in one of the most charming seaside locations in the UK.
Enjoy some of the most breath-taking views and surroundings as you run around Southwold and neighbouring Walberswick. The race starts and finishes on Southwold promenade.
Race Entry: £40 + booking fee. All entries include chip-timing and a bespoke race medal.
Charity Entry: If you opt for a charity entry, you are agreeing to fundraise a minimum of £150 for EPIC Norfolk's Dementia Campaign AND to provide one volunteer to help marshal on race day. Your entry fee of £40 will be refunded once you've reached the fundraising target. EPIC Norfolk will contact you to set-up a fundraising page.
T-shirts: Available to purchase as an add-on for just £15, select your size when you enter.
All entrants must be at least 17 years or over.
This route is multi-terrain with a combination of road, adopted road and hard wearing tracks. Therefore, it is not affiliated with UK Athletics, although it will still follow their guidelines. Some of the route may be uneven and narrow in places, so be vigilant when running.
Cut-off time: This race will have a cut-off time of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Race Car Parking: The official race car parking will be based as Old Hall Cafe & Walks. We will be providing a free shuttle bus service to and from the start/finish for racegoers and spectators. There will be no additional car parking fees at the official race car park.
