EPIC Aylsham 5K – Race Day Information

Start - 7pm

The race starts at 7pm and the start and finish line are in Aylsham Market Place, NR11 6EN. Please arrive in good time, especially if you need to collect your race number.

Race Numbers

For those of you who paid to have your race number posted, they will be sent out by Total Race Timing a week or so before the race. For those of you who will be collecting your race number on the evening, this can be done from 6pm at Aylsham Town Hall (Race HQ, right next to the start line).

All Race Numbers must be attached securely to the front of your running top as the chip-timing is attached to the race number. It must also be visible when you run.

Race Briefing

There will be no race briefing on the evening, so turn up ready to run and read all of the information below.

The Route

A preview of the route is available here https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/2188615477 .

It is a multi-terrain route and has been officially measured by UKA.

Please note that only the first 1km is on closed roads. After that, any sections on road will be on open roads, so please be aware of any traffic around you and stick to the side of the roads (they are all quiet residential roads) and listen to marshal instructions. Some sections are quite narrow so please always keep a look ahead. Any road crossings will be managed by CSAS marshals, who will stop traffic to enable you to cross safely without having to stop yourself.
