Race Day Info for Runners

Start Time: 9am

Parking: The official car park for the race will be at the Aylsham Scout Ground on Stonegate, next to Woodgate nursery. The car park is 1 mile from the start line, so we will be putting on regular shuttle buses (starting just after 7am, last shuttle at 8:30am) for those that don’t fancy a warm up walk/jog before the race. We will have signs and marshals directing any runners who do want to walk/jog to the start line.

There will be 3 water stations on the course (using biodegradable cups) and at the finish line.  Please dispose of the cups in the bins provided. Runners must not dispose of their cups at the side of the road or in people’s gardens – any littering will result in disqualification.

If you need to fill up your own bottle or pouch, there will be large water containers with taps at each station for you to do this.

Race Numbers: If you selected to have your number sent to you, you will receive your race number the week before the race at the latest. If you are collecting on the day, they will be available for collection from 7:30am near the start line.

There will be toilets available at the start line and the finish line. There will also be a toilet available on route at approximately 5.5 miles in at the Saracen’s Head in Wolterton.

Each participant will receive a food item after passing the finishing line, but there will also be refreshments available to purchase.
